I have been in the counseling field for over ten years. I am a licensed clinician, having studied in beautiful downtown Chicago at Roosevelt University. I have worked in several different settings in behavioral health, including schools and private practice. Primarily I worked with adolescents and families, but I also worked with adults and couples.

I believe that the strongest therapeutic relationship is one that is built on trust. The client needs to be heard during sessions, while the clinical needs to hear, but also challenge where appropriate. 

I believe that the best motivation to change comes internally, and with support, old behavior patterns can be altered to a more healthy choice.   

I enjoy working with children, adolescents and adults struggling with grief, mood disorders, ADHD, thought disorders, personality disorders, and cognitive/learning difficulties.
