It is important to feel like someone understands what you are going through and is there to help. We need trust and communication, feeling like someone understands and is working with you to tackle the challenges life is giving you. Having the right support makes a difference. I can help.
I have been in the counseling field for over 15 years and have worked with a wide range of clients and issues. I have experience with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families and groups. I have worked with people experiencing many different life struggles and have a specialty with anxiety. I have also worked with those experiencing depression, substance abuse issues, work and relationship problems as well as those experiencing grief and loss. I also have a great deal of experience dealing with parenting issues, helping children and families with special needs, and educational problems with children.
As each person is different, I focus on incorporating traditional therapies as well as creative treatment methods and alternative therapies. I am member of the Association of Creativity and Counseling through the American Counseling Association. My aim is to provide an open and supportive environment where we share a collaborative goal of working together to help you obtain clarity and resolution.
